The Pittsburgh Ukrainian community will observe the 85th anniversary of the Ukrainian Holomodor-Genocide of 1932-33. The observance will include a panakhyda prayer service in memory of the millions of Ukranians who died of starvation under Joseph Stalin's orders. The prayer service will be co-led by Catholic and Ukrainian Orthodox clergy. All are invited to attend this important anniversary.
Join Moms Demand Action & CeaseFirePA as we mark the 6th anniversary of the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary by memorializing the lives lost to gun violence in Allegheny County this year. We hope our community will find some measure of healing in the recognition and naming of those victims we heard so much about and those that never made the headlines. This annual event is free and open to the public.
