Heinz Memorial Chapel is non-denominational and any of the University of Pittsburgh's
religious groups may hold services at the Chapel.
If you are a Pitt religious group interested in holding a service here, please email heinzchapel@pitt.edu.
Please note: services are not held during the summer. Please see below for our fall semester schedule.

Sundays at 11 AM: Catholic Newman Club Mass
The Catholic Newman Club welcomes all students to worship God and connect with their peers by joining for Mass every Sunday at 11 AM in Heinz Chapel. Mass will be celebrated by one of the Oratorian priests, the Catholic chaplains for the University of Pittsburgh. All students are welcome to join us for food and fellowship after the Mass concludes. For more information, visit thepittsburghoratory.org or join our Discord Server "Catholic Newman Club."
Fall semester services begin on August 16.

Sundays at 8 PM: Compline
This contemplative service is almost entirely sung by the Pittsburgh Compline Choir. Traditionally, one or more of the Psalms associated with Compline are sung or chanted by the choir. Before the service, the congregation is invited to submit names of persons in need or persons who have died to be chanted as part of the evening prayers. The service reaches back to the time of an undivided Christendom and resonates with people from widely different faith traditions. Music from the last 1000 years is offered by a dedicated choir made up of students and community members. Compline has been offered at Heinz Chapel by the Pittsburgh Compline Choir for over 30 years. For more information, visit PITTSBURGH COMPLINE CHOIR.
Fall semester services begin on September 13 and end on December 6. Spring semester services begin on January 17 and end April 25.

Mondays at 7 PM: Lutheran Worship Service
PSALM (Pittsburgh Students Active in Lutheran Ministry) and Lutheran Campus Ministry in Greater Pittsburgh welcome all who would like to join in our worship services in Heinz Chapel. We celebrate weekly communion, sing hymns, and seek to live out God's radical hospitality. For more information, please see our website www.psalm.online, email pastor@psalm.online, or call (412) 682-6886.

Wednesdays at 8 PM: The Hill at Heinz
The Hill at Heinz is a Non-Denominational worship service for all Pitt students put on by Orchard Hill Church. Our heart is to create a space where students can come learn about Jesus and what he has done for us. Each week we will have intentional times of connecting with other students, singing songs together, and hearing a message from the Bible. For more information about our church, please visit us at www.orchardhillchurch.com. To receive more information about The Hill at Heinz, please email Pastor Jonathan at jthiede@orchardhillchurch.com.
Fall semester services begin on August 26. Join us on August 19 for an informal meet & greet.

3rd Thursdays at 7:30 PM: Coptic Orthodox Tasbeha (Midnight Praises)
COYA, or the Coptic Orthodox Youth Association is dedicated to building Christian fellowship through the teachings of the Orthodox faith. The Coptic Church is almost 2,000 years old and draws its roots back to Egypt. The word "tasbeha" means praise and it refers to the collection of praises prayed in preparation for the liturgy. In the Coptic tradition, 4 "hoos" or "biblical hymns" are sung directly from the Bible followed by explanations, commemoration of the saints and more. All are welcome! To find out more, email coyacopts@gmail.com or follow our Instagram, @coya_pitt.
Fall semester services will be held on September 17, October 15, November 19 and December 17.
