The chapel, by design, is non-sectarian. No clergy are directly assigned to the chapel.
Religious services are held weekly in the Chapel for the University community (Pitt ID required).

Christian Student Fellowship (CSF) is a campus ministry in Pittsburgh which reaches students from all city universities, including Pitt, CMU, Point Park, Duquesne, and more. Greg Voss is the "in the field" minister for CSF, as well as being an elder at Squirrel Hill.

Weekly service held at Heinz Memorial Chapel has been suspended due to the pandemic.
The service of Compline originated during the Middle Ages in the monasteries of Europe as monks sang their prayers for peace and forgiveness before going to sleep. The service at Heinz Chapel is almost entirely sung by the Pittsburgh Compline Choir. Every person is warmly invited to experience the transcendent beauty of this mystical service. Sponsored by the Lutheran Campus Ministries.
