For more than 75 years, the Heinz Chapel Choir has presented a cappella music from a variety of time periods and cultural traditions and in a wealth of languages. The Choir’s home for the majority of its Pittsburgh performances is the Heinz Memorial Chapel on the University of Pittsburgh campus. This annual festival will include performances by Seneca Valley Senior High School Madrigal Singers (Aaron Magill, director), Fox Chapel Area High School Madrigal Singers (Ben Murray,director), and Bethel Park High School Top 21 (Todd Kuczawa, director). Music educators Dr. Susan Medley (Washington and Jefferson College) and Professor Melanie Vaccari (Waynesburg University) will provide comments for each ensemble.
The program is free and open to the public.
