After more than 10 years of planning, fund-raising and construction, the 31st Nationality Room in the Cathedral of Learning on the campus of the University of Pittsburgh, will be formally dedicated.
The room, set in the style of the Filipino “Bahay na Bato” (House of Stone),was designed by Architect Poppi Laudico from the Philippines using the Quema House from the UNESCO World Heritage city of Vigan in the Philippines for inspiration.
Festivities include an open house food station at the Cathedral of Learning, Philippine dances, and a liturgical mass performed by Fr. Manny Gelido at Heinz Memorial Chapel.

Heinz Chapel is located on the University of Pittsburgh campus and open to all faiths and backgrounds.
