Frequent collaborators and active champions of new music, organist Buck McDaniel and tenor Matthew Jones perform excerpts from Philip Glass’s portrait trilogy of operas: Einstein on the Beach, Satyagraha, and Ahknaten in the Gothic environs of Pittsburgh’s historic Heinz Chapel. The program also includes works by Arvo Pärt, Nico Muhly, David Lang, and a new work by McDaniel.
Open to the public. Admission is free.
