Oakland Yuletide Tour

oin us for a festive holiday tour featuring some of Oakland's most historic and beautiful buildings. The tour begins with a continental breakfast at the Pittsburgh Athletic Association, celebrated for over 100 years as a Pittsburgh icon rich in history and renowned for its traditional elegance. Next will be a guided tour through the Nationality Classrooms at the University of Pittsburgh's 42-story Cathedral of Learning. These internationally famous rooms re-create cultural periods prior to 1787, the year the University was founded, and will each be beautifully decorated for Christmas. Finally you'll tour Heinz Memorial Chapel to learn about its history and amazing craftsmanship including some of the tallest stained glass windows in the world. While at Heinz Chapel you'll be treated to an organ recital of Christmas carols. Tour participants will receive coupons to Oakland shops, restaurants and attractions and are encouraged to enjoy all that this neighborhood has to offer.

We will meet inside the Pittsburgh Athletic Association for check-in and continental breakfast between 9:00-9:30am.
